  I recently tried to get in contact with the pastoral team at the church here to ask not only about their involvement in community service projects that we could possibly codevelop, but also to ask about membership. They never replied to any of my emails, and I finally gave up entirely. Any church where you need to beg to be a part of isn't something I'd let people close to you spend time around.
